Some of the perks of living in Montreal is that most of the time it feels like I’m living in Europe ! This is especially true in terms of the makeup brands that we have access to here and Pupa Milano is one such brand ! I discovered it by accident around 3 years ago and I keep discovering new DEElights that they put out every now and then . I feel like it’s quite an underrated brand ..an unsung hero if you will even over here, but I haven’t come across a single dud in what I’ve bought from them so far, and their quality really is top notch.
These are the products that I have from them ( and a lipgloss that’s coming up later in this post):
The concealer ( $24 CAD) is quite yellow and works better as a corrector on me but someone with less prominent dark circles this would work great on it’s own. It is creamy and pigmented and the applicator makes it very easy to use ( dispenses just the right amount per click too):
Their eyeliners are a must have for me! They are 18$ each but worth double that price in my opinion! They have the multiplay ones that are very soft and creamy going on so can be blended out very easily to be used as eyeshadow as well and they also have the Made To Last Eyes ones that are not AS creamy but still very smooth going on. They do not fade or budge once on. The multiplay ones can be manipulated a bit once on but once set ( few seconds) they don’t budge either. They have them in an array of shades but I have them in blue, aubergine and brown:
Next up is the Diva Lashes mascara. It’s one of my very favourite mascaras. It lengthens, thickens ( *really* thickens!) and holds the curl well. Wore it for one of my weddings ( to the same man….nothing scandalous:) ) and it held up very well.
Their eyeshadow quads ( $36 CAD)are so buttery smooth and pigmented it’s not even funny. I got one called Bon Ton – a neutral quad, which I really, really love!
Quick look using this quad:
Then I have my favourite highlighter pen – the Luminys touch highlighting pen ( $32) :
I have the YSL touche eclat and I’m not kidding when I say it doesn’t compare to this one. Great value for your money! (The MAC Prep& Prime highlighter pen in Bright Forecast is my 2nd choice, if you’re curious:)
Last but not least I have this lipgloss by them . I think it runs at around $17 CAD – it’s completely non-sticky, moisturizing and so comfortable to wear:
I’m wearing the mascara and the lipgloss here:
I find that Amazon has some of the Pupa Milano products but the other stores that sell them are mostly in the UK. It’s a shame because it’s such a DEElightful brand! I urge you to try either their eyeshadow quad or their highlighting pen and you’ll be hooked! I do want to try this BB cream of theirs next.
